What channel is Celtic vs Ross County? Live stream, TV channel and kick-off details for SPFL Premiership opener

It's been a long and eventful summer but the dawn of the Premiership season is finally upon us.

And for the tenth time in the last 11 years, that means it's flag day for Celtic as they welcome Ross County to Glasgow's East end. Brendan Rodgers is back at the helm and he has a Treble to defend and unfinished business in the eyes of the fans who have mostly warmed up to the idea of giving him a second chance. But he'll have to get off to a fast start and set the pace from day one.

It's not the easiest opener he could have wished for and he's been full of praise for the man in the opposing dugout. Malky Mackay has made eight signings at County this summer and knows the pressure is off, relatively, with few expecting them to take anything from the champions on opening day.

Here's everything you need to know ahead of the big kick-off.

The game takes place at Celtic Park on Saturday, August 5, with a 12.30pm kick-off. It's expected to be packed out early as the title flag is raised to honour the champions before the action starts.

Sky Sports have this one as their exclusive TV deal with the Premiership continues. It will be shown live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football with coverage starting an hour before kick-off at 11.30am. You can subscribe to Sky Sports from £22 per month here.

Yes, Sky Sports subscribers can stream the game to their devices via the Sky Go app. Alternatively, a Now TV day pass can be purchased here from £11.98.
