What Antony did during international break speaks volumes after Manchester United criticism

Manchester United winger Antony has been working hard to improve his game during the international break.

Antony moved from Ajax to United in 2022 for £85m but has only scored 10 goals since then. Such form has seen him lose his place in the starting XI with Amad the latest player to challenge his place in the squad.

Even though Erik ten Hag still supports Antony, his future at Old Trafford might be in danger. Many fans have made their feelings clear that he needs to improve, while former Newcastle United forward and Match of the Day pundit Alan Shearer has also been vocal in his criticism of the Brazilian.

But Antony will hope that his recent goal against Liverpool in the FA Cup will help him get back on track. To try and return to the starting XI, the Brazilian has taken some extra steps.

During the March international break, Antony wasn't playing for Brazil. So, he went to a special training establishment called the Fisio Clinic in Madeira, where former United forward Cristiano Ronaldo grew up.

The Fisio Clinic has many locations across Europe where they help people recover from injuries, complete physiotherapy sessions and reach their best physical performance. Recently, the clinic shared a social media update showing Antony doing strength and conditioning exercises.
