West Brom have Easter fixture at Nottingham Forest selected for TV coverage
West Brom’s game at Nottingham Forest next month has been selected by Sky Sports for live televising.
Albion, whose season has rather petered out in recent seasons though they have collected eight points from four games, will likely have little to play for in the remaining handful of games this season unless they were to string together a number of victories between now and May.
On the other hand, Forest have it all to play for; having finally been knocked out at the quarter final stage of the FA Cup by Liverpool over the weekend, Steve Cooper will be targeting a fairy tale end to the unlikeliest of promotion challenges - that’s when you consider where the club were when he took over from Chris Hughton earlier this season.
They welcome Steve Bruce’s Baggies to the City Ground on Monday 18 April, which is Easter Monday. The game was due to kick off at the regulation time of 3pm, but because Sky have selected it for broadcasting coverage, the match will now take place at 8pm of the same evening.
