West Brom: Fresh claim emerges on Steve Bruce's Hawthorns future

Steve Bruce losing his job as West Brom manager before the end of the season can’t be completely ruled out, according to former Baggies midfielder Carlton Palmer.

Despite a recent upturn in results, Bruce has endured a difficult start to life in the Hawthorns hotseat.

Until recently, the 61-year-old had been having a torrid time of things since he replaced Valerien Ismael in the dugout.

In his first five Championship fixtures in charge, the Baggies collected just one point from a possible 15 available and had only one goal to show for their efforts.

When asked whether Bruce could be sacked before the end of this season, Palmer told GIVEMESPORT: “You never know, in football, you never know.”
