West Brom 2-3 Swansea City: Sorinola, Ntcham and Obafemi goals earn Russell Martin's men dramatic win

Michael Obafemi struck two minutes from time as Swansea City came from behind to earn a dramatic 3-2 win over West Brom at The Hawthorns Stadium.

The visitors started well in the Midlands and went ahead early on through what was Matty Sorinola's first goal for the club. However, West Brom improved and equalised shortly after the restart through Jake Livermore.

Steve Bruce's outfit took the lead through Grady Diangana before substitute Olivier Ntcham levelled with his second goal of the campaign. Although the Baggies were handed a glorious chance to clinch victory nine minutes from time as Armstrong Oko-Flex conceded a spot-kick, but Benda denied Karlan Grant from 12 yards out to keep the contest level. And Obafemi drilled home in the 88th minute as Swansea earned a stunning victory in the Midlands to move into the top half of the Championship table.

Russell Martin made just one change from the side that started against Hull City in the final game before the international break, with Luke Cundle coming in for Joe Allen who is continuing to recover from a hamstring issue.

Having won just one of their opening 10 league games of the campaign, the pressure was firmly on Bruce's side. The hosts created a good chance very early on from a corner, although Benda - on his 24th birthday - comfortably denied Dara O'Shea.
