Jurgen Klopp has played down Liverpool’s winning run to sit a point behind Manchester City in the Premier League title race heading into Sunday’s clash at the Etihad - insisting he has never cared about the deficit.
The German’s side sat as many as 14 points behind the reigning champions back in January but a 10-game winning run has seen them close the gap to be in a position where they would leapfrog Pep Guardiola’s side at the top of the table if they win later on this afternoon.
