Man City fans all have the same Pep Guardiola theory after Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool FC renewal

Manchester City fans have suggested Pep Guardiola may be tempted to sign a new contract at the Etihad after Jurgen Klopp extended his stay at Liverpool.

The German coach is already a Liverpool icon after helping the club lift their maiden Premier League trophy in 2020. The news of his contract extension has prompted City fans to speculate that Guardiola may follow suit.

The Catalan boss sees his deal run out at the end of next season and has yet to sign a renewal. Earlier this month he said he felt he could stay at City “forever”, adding he would sign a 10-year deal if offered one.

The top-of-the-table battle between Guardiola and Klopp has excited club fans and neutrals and some believe their duel may last for years to come with the City manager, in their opinion, surely due to sign a new contract.
