Watch Steven Gerrard bust Ettifaq dressing room dance party as ex Rangers boss cuts celebrations short with sharp reminder

Steven Gerrard strutted his dance moves in Saudi Arabia - before immediately calling a halt to the Ettifaq dressing room victory party.

The former Rangers boss is one of many famous faces from Europe that has taken up a big payday in the Middle East as the Saudi Pro League hoovers up an array of talents like Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo. He has taken former Celtic pair Moussa Dembele and Jack Hendry with him alongside Jordan Henderson, whose departure as Liverpool captain for Saudi Arabia sparked controversy.

It's been a good start to life in the hotseat for Gerrard, who after beating big-spending Al Nassr 2-1 on the opening day last week, followed that up with a 2-0 away win at Al Hazem on Friday. A video has emerged of a dressing room party post-match, with the boss who delivered Premiership glory to Rangers in 2021 keen to stress they were only two games into the season.

That message sent a clear signal of more hard work ahead for the Ettifaq camp. But not for a brief moment of relaxation as Gerrard flashed a quick dance move before making his way out of the dressing room.

Next up for his side is a home match with Al Khaleej. Goals from Robin Quaison and Vitinho sealed a comfortable win for Gerrard over Al Hazem as they stand as one of two teams with six points from two games at present.
