Watch Philippe Clement's Rangers press conference in full as boss warns against 'stupid' dangers in title run in

Experienced Philippe Clement knows the dangers of making "stupid mistakes" in the race for trophies.

And he's warned his Rangers stars against falling for the same traps now they have more trophies in their sights. Clement has turned things around since taking the reigns at Ibrox in December and an incredible run of domestic form has catapulted them ahead of Celtic into the driving seat in the Premiership.

They already have the League Cup in their back pocket and are still competing on three fronts; the league, the Scottish Cup, and the Europa League where they will face Benfica in the last 16. And as the hype builds around their impressive form, Clement warned them not to get caught up in it - and keep their eyes firmly on their own performances.

Speaking ahead of Wednesday night's clash with Kilmarnock, Clement said: "I know what it is (to win trophies). I know what the dangers are. I try to explain that to my players.

"I know it's easy to get caught up in the excitement and the noise, and looking at results of others and all the stupid things you can do that are of no use. I tried to explain that to my players. That definitely helps with a few players.

"As I said from the beginning, we are only focused on ourselves. Because I've made the mistakes before when I was a player, so I know really well what you need to do to win titles."
