Watch: Instant karma as Roma fan apparently mocking Leicester City fans crashes his moped

An Italian moped rider, apparently mocking Leicester City supporters in the aftermath of the Foxes' loss to Roma on Thursday night, was videoed crashing into the back of a stationary car. Immediately afterwards a second rider also got involved in the crash and was seen on the road screaming in pain.

The video was shared on the Reddit website last night by a user called Reverting Backwards and the title of the clip is "Roma fan crashes while taunting Leicester fans". By 9am today it already had more than 20,000 views on the site.

Leicester City were beaten 1-0 by Roma in the Europa Conference League match in the Italian capital. The match saw a lot of jeering and booing of Leicester fans.

The LeicestershireLive Foxes reporter Jordan Blackwell wrote in his review of the match: "Roma fans’ hours-long barrage of noise and colour before the match included a lot of booing for anything related to City, whether that was one of their players emerging from the tunnel for the warm-up, or for any chants from the 3,500 travelling fans. So quick to drown out the away crowd, even a chant from the City fans about Claudio Ranieri, a local hero at Roma, was jeered."

The moped accident seemed to amuse some Leicester fans commenting on the Reddit post. A fan said: "You hate to see people getting injured but he appears fine and the only thing injured was his pride. It’s rare to see karmic forces act so quickly."

Another said: "The only celebrations all night," while another added: "We gotta take what we can - it’s rough out there."
