WATCH | 'I am not a fool ... this is the last time' - Broos on failed meeting with PSL coaches

Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has once again vented his frustration at the Premier Soccer League (PSL) for failing to help him organise a meeting between himself and the PSL managers.

Broos has always been vocal about the standard of South African football not being up to the level it needs to be.

And with Bafana producing a below par performance against Botswana on Tuesday night, Broos once again admitted that some players were not good enough for the national team despite the 1-0 victory.

"Some players are not good enough or not able to be on this level. The PSL is one thing, but international games are tougher, quicker and different," said Broos after the game.

Broos believes a meeting could be key in finding solutions to these issues but he's not been able to get one since taking charge more than a year ago.

"For one year I tried to see the coaches and every time the league (PSL) said no".

Broos indicated that his previous letter sent to the coaches did not reach them as the letter was not passed onto them from the PSL.

"You know the story that happened in December. They didn't even send my letter to the clubs and I was disappointed that I didn't have an answer from the coaches but they did not receive my letter".

The relationship between PSL and Broos has always been one of high tension, with Broos being public about his frustrations.

It seems to have taken an even more sour turn after Broos insisted that this will be his final attempt to launch a meeting with the PSL bosses.

"Everybody knows the story here and it's not my fault that I can't see the coaches. I will try again now, for the very last time," he said.

"If in November I don't succeed in having a meeting with the coaches, I will not organise another one.
