Blunt Broos says 'some players not good enough' after below-par Bafana performance

Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos openly admitted that perhaps "some players" do not have the football qualities to represent the senior national team despite earning a 1-0 against Botswana at FNB Stadium on Tuesday.

"It's clear that some players are maybe not good enough or not able to be on this level. The PSL is one thing, but international games are tougher, are quicker and are different," Broos told reporters after the game.

"I chose two teams to see what the players can do. Today I am not happy with it, but again we won, and that is the most important thing."

Broos' charges demolished Sierra Leone 4-0, with goals coming from Themba Zwane, Mihlali Mayambela and Aubrey Modiba.
