Watch Ben Doak set Jurgen Klopp giddy as beaming Liverpool boss buzzing over star's combo with Andy Robertson

Liverpool youngster Ben Doak is showing his worth in training and even Jurgen Klopp can't believe what he is seeing.

The former Celtic kid made the switch to the Premier League giants in 2022 with the Hoops banking around £600,000 for the now 17-year-old's services. Doak has been tipped to be a top star at Liverpool despite only making a handful of senior appearances in Glasgow before making the life-changing switch to Anfield. Klopp has heaped praise on the attacker since his arrival and he has been influential for Scotland on the international stage with the German boss handing the teenager around 60 minutes of action for the first team.

And Doak has been the name on every fans' lips with some of his incredible foot-work at Kirkby being shared on social media. The tricky winger can be seen dancing past some of Anfield's biggest starts, with cheerleader and Scotland captain Andy Robertson vocally leading the praise for the youngster. In one clip, the left-back can be heard shouting his appreciation for the star.

But in an extended look inside to Klopp's pre-season training, one particular sequence at 12 minutes in has the 56-year-old giddy over the link-up between the two Scots stars. Robertson sends a ball in to the box that Doak latches on to with a cool finish, before the pair walked towards each other and high five.

The German can be heard shouting his words of encouragement saying: "Wow, the present and future of Scotland, I can't believe it." He told the official Liverpool website in pre-season: “So, there are now not too many new players but [we have] a lot of young players, of course, in and young players for who the door is open, who can play a different role next season.
