Warzone Season 4: Changes coming to Caldera map
Raven Software has confirmed that Warzone Season 4 is going to include a number of changes to the Caldera map.
Call of Duty Vanguard and Warzone Season 4, which has been named Mercenaries of Fortune, arrives on June 22nd.
And there are going to be several changes brought with it.
As per Video Games Chronicle, there will be a huge reduction in the vegetation on Caldera, by 50%, and that is set to improve visibility for players as they look to get a line of sight.
There will also be new “micro-POIs” and more looting throughout the map.
Add to that the addition of secret underground mercenary vaults and you’ve got a major edit to the way Warzone works.
A new Warzone map is coming too, titled Fortune’s Keep, and that map includes a huge structure which has 20 cannons, 10 staircases, 12 rooms and a fountain.
There is also Smuggler’s Cove, an area that has eight ladders, three ziplines, eight huts and 11 boats. That area includes much more verticality and will encourage players to climb as they aim to get that W.
Vanguard Season 4 will bring with a new map for Zombies, as well, with an updated version of Shi No Numa.
Activision are also working on a new version of Warzone, titled Warzone 2.0, that is releasing later this year to go along with the release of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.
Warzone version 1 will continue to be supported throughout the lifespan of Warzone 2, as well, so players can keep playing the former if they so wish.
As soon as we receive more information about the new mode, or any further updates on Warzone right now, we’ll update you.
