NJPW star Zack Sabre Jr calls out AEW star for Forbidden Door

Zack Sabre Jr’s ability has classified him as one of the best, if not the best technical wrestler in the world. Recently he expressed his desire to prove it against one of professional wrestling’s best at Forbidden Door.

Sabre Jr recently spoke after his NEVER Openweight Six-Man Tag Team Championship loss about what the next step is for him. 

He expressed his desire to prove he is the best technical wrestler in the world and the way to prove it to all the world is to collide with whom they consider the best, this being AEW’s Bryan Danielson. 

 During his post-match press conference, Sabre Jr would go on to discuss and disrespect The Blackpool Combat Club and Danielson. He made it clear that he believes he is the best and wants to cement it by disposing of Danielson, who he referred to as “Old Dragon Bollocks” rather than his established American Dragon nickname.

There is no word if Danielson will accept as of yet, but the American Dragon isn’t featured on the highly anticipated card, unlike his Blackpool Combat Club partner Wheeler Yuta who teams up with Eddie Kingston and Shota Umino to take on Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara and Minoru Suzuki. 

Also, Blackpool Combat Club member Jon Moxley collides with Hiroshi Tanahashi for the Interim AEW World Championship. 

Danielson vs Sabre Jr is a match definitely of the calibre to feature on the Forbidden Door card and will be a technical wrestling masterclass. With 10 days left until Forbidden Door, we will have to wait and see if Danielson accepts the challenge.
