Leigh Halfpenny, Alun Wyn Jones and Justin Tipuric all bid farewell to the international game in today's uncapped match between Wales and the Barbarians.

Warren Gatland's side face the famous invitational club in a match that has not been without its fair share of criticism, given it clashes with a Welsh derby between the Scarlets and Cardiff.

Gatland says he understands the criticism, but believes today's match offers a chance for some of the younger players to lay down a marker ahead of the Six Nations.
