Wales U20s v Ireland Live: TV channel, start time and latest score updates
Wales U20s take on Ireland U20s at Rodney Parade tonight in a bid to win back-to-back Six Nations victories for the first time since 2020.
Richard Whiffin's side bounced back from a 63-19 thrashing at the hands of France U20s on the opening weekend of the championship with a dramatic 20-18 victory over Italy U20s in Treviso. There are four changes to the starting XV, with Bath fullback Jack Woods replacing Scott Delnevo in the only change behind the scrum.
Up front, Bath's Ioan Emanuel replaces Louie Trevett at loosehead, while RGC lock Tom Cottle also comes into the pack. Dan Gemine moves from lock to blindside in place of Deian Gwynne. Wales have not beaten Ireland at this level since 2018 and face another stern challenge in Newport tonight.
"The boys did a decent job out in Italy and we were happy with certain aspects of our play against France as well, so we've given the majority of the squad an opportunity to get a home game under their belts at Rodney Parade," said Whiffin.
"We're also trying to keep combinations and connections high for the reminder of the tournament. I think the boys put everything into the two opening games and we played some really good stuff in patches, and I was really pleased for the boys to get over the line against Italy."
Kick-off: 7.30pm live on BBC iPlayer.
