Wakefield 19-18 Hull: Trinity complete comeback for important victory

Wakefield Trinity claimed their first win since April after coming from behind to beat Hull FC at the Mobile Rocket Stadium.

A double from Adam Swift, and another try from Darnell McIntosh saw Hull up 18-6 at the break. Matty Ashurst had scored Wakefield’s only try.

The hosts needed to respond before the break, and they did just a few minutes later. Matty Ashurst managed to reach over and get the ball down. Mason Lino added the conversion to reduce the deficit.

Just seven minutes into the second half, it
