Virals: Celtic's Liel Abada makes impressive goal contribution list
Celtic star Liel Abada had a very good first season at the club, as the 20-year-old winger helped the Hoops to a league and Premier Sports Cup double.
How successful the player was has been shown in a Tweet by B/R Football, who have placed Abada in the list of players with most goal contributions by under-21 talents in season 2021/22.
Abada had 26 goal contributions, which has him in sixth place in the list, one impression ahead of Manchester City star Phil Foden, who had 25.
The Hoops winger contributed 15 goals and 11 assists in his first campaign in Glasgow, as he had a season to remember for the Bhoys.

Congratulations to Liel Abada for his place on the list, as he has been a revelation in his first season with the Hoops. For a player that is so young, he wasn’t afraid to take responsibilities for the Bhoys, and he weighed in with a number of key goals whilst Celtic were dealing with a striker injury crisis.
With all the talk over Jota’s possible permanent deal, it shouldn’t be forgotten that Abada did score more goals than the Portuguese star last season, and the Hoops were lucky to have two wingers of such quality in the first-team squad.
It will be interesting to see if Abada can match or even better his debut Celtic season in his second year at the club, if he stays fit, there is no reason why he shouldn’t.
Abada was the first big signing made by Ange Postecoglou, and the signing has more than paid off for the Hoops, as the winger, who was a teenager when he joined the club, has perhaps done better than anyone would have expected him to do.
Abada didn’t need time to settle down in Glasgow, he has made an impact since he first arrived at the club, and credit for that has to be given to the
