"No way he leaves Arsenal" – Journalist drops big future hint involving £58.5m-rated star

Arsenal star Bukayo Saka will not be leaving the Emirates Stadium this summer, according to journalist Jacque Talbot.

Manchester City have been credited with an interest in the £58.5m-rated winger, but Talbot expects the England international to sign a contract extension in north London rather than move on.

According to the Daily Mail, the Premier League champions have stepped up their pursuit of Saka, who scored 11 goals and laid on seven assists for the Gunners last season, only narrowly missing out on the PFA Young Player of the Year award to Phil Foden.

The report adds that Pep Guardiola’s side are now ‘closely monitoring’ Saka’s progression, along with Liverpool, with just two years remaining on the attacker’s Arsenal deal.

Saka enjoyed another exceptional season for the Gunners, as he led their charge towards a top-six finish by directly contributing to more than 29 per cent of the Premier League goals they scored.

As a result, the 20-year-old was named as the club’s Player of the Season for the second year on the bounce and has already racked up 131 appearances for his boyhood club before his 20th birthday.

Despite Saka now being widely regarded as one of the most promising talents in English football, Talbot doesn’t expect the Three Lions star to be leaving the Emirates Stadium in the near future.

He told GIVEMESPORT: “At the moment, Saka is fully committed to Arsenal, absolutely fully committed to Arsenal. I think there will be a contract extension relatively soon, there’s no way he leaves Arsenal now.”

Having been with Arsenal since he was a seven-year-old, it’s clear Saka loves the club and is relishing spearheading their frontline.
