Urgent police appeal over missing boy, 15

An urgent appeal has been issued by police over a missing 15-year-old boy.

Police in the North East of England said teenager Abdul Rahman El-Sharaifi could have travelled to the Manchester or Lancashire areas. Anyone with any information about his whereabouts is being asked to come forward.

Abdul was last seen in Middlesbrough last Friday evening and was wearing a light grey Berghaus jacket, black tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.

His image is now being circulated as part of the public appeal.

In a statement today, Cleveland Police said: "Have you seen missing Abdul, 15? Police are appealing to trace a missing 15-year-old boy from Middlesbrough.

"Abdul Rahman El-Sharaifi is of slim build and was last seen at 4:55pm on Friday 31st March in Middlesbrough, wearing a light grey Berghaus jacket, black tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.

"It is possible that Abdul could have travelled to the Lancashire or Manchester areas.

"Anyone who may have seen him, or may know of his whereabouts, is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting reference number 060853." The appeal has been shared by Greater Manchester Police. No further details are available.
