Union Bears stew in Rangers TIFO DENIED protest as angry ultras make a mess with Fir Park outcry

The Union Bears have hit back at being denied a tifo for their away Premiership game with Motherwell with forcing Fir Park staff into a clean-up operation.

Rangers' fixture with the Steelmen has been moved from the 23rd to Christmas Eve for Sky Sports coverage as they look to close the gap on Celtic in first place. As the teams emerged out onto the park, white ribbons and blue dust was thrown onto the park from the away end, with a pointed message as to why they were causing a North Lanarkshire mess soon unveiled.

They revealed via a banner unfurled in the Tommy McClean stand which read "Tifo denied, time to tidy up." It forced staff to clean up the mess ahead of kick-off and goalkeeper Jack Butland heading towards the goalmouth in front of the Rangers fans. Some of the paper could be seen in the away stand stairwells during the game.
