Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte: The Rock sends special message to Gypsy King

Dwayne Johnson has sent a heartfelt message to Tyson Fury ahead of the heavyweight championships and has told him to “kick ass.”

Tyson Fury will return to the UK on Saturday, for the first time since 2018, to fight Dillian Whyte.

Fury posted a clip of Dwayne Johnson’s message to his Instagram captioned: “I appreciate the amazing message brother. I certainly will be kicking ass and enjoying my homecoming!”

In the clip 49-year-old Johnson sent support for his “brother” ahead of the much-anticipated bout. He said: “I want to wish you and Dillian, your opponent, the best of luck.

“Two great sportsmen, and I know without a shadow of a doubt that both of you will leave it all in the middle of the ring.”

The Rock added that Saturday’s Wembley Stadium fight is Fury’s “homecoming” after the 33-year-old has spent the last three years in the US, and he credits Fury for “changing the game of boxing” and “changing the paradigm in the heavyweight division.”

The message ends with Johnson saying: “I admire you, love, and respect you, brother.”

Tyson Fury is the two-time heavyweight champion and is currently undefeated in 32 fights. His previous two battles have been against the American heavyweight Deontay Wilder and Fury delivered Wilder his first ever defeat.
