Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte: Gypsy King's physique 8 days before fight

We are now less than a week away from Tyson Fury versus Dillian Whyte.

Anticipation is high and the whole world of boxing is on tenterhooks.

Video footage has now emerged on Reddit of the Gypsy King eight days out from the bout, sharpening his tools in training and looking a little slimmer than some of us first expected.

This comes as a surprise to boxing fans, as Tyson openly told media that he was planning on fighting Whyte at his heaviest ever weight.

Fury said: “I am going to try and come in and my heaviest weight of all time. For the biggest fight in my biggest crowd, you are going to see the biggest Tyson Fury – I am going to try and come in like a man mountain.

“I am going to come in heavier than 19 stone 10 – I am going to be the heaviest world champion ever.”

Fury’s nutritionist George Lockhart claimed that boxing fans will be “shocked” when Fury steps on the scales during the weigh in.

“You won’t even have to see the number on the scale. When you see him, you’ll know exactly what he’s been doing this whole time.”

The claim from the world champion suggests that he will look to be the aggressor against Whyte, sitting in the pocket and outboxing his opponent.

In last year’s emphatic trilogy against Deontay Wilder, Fury weighed in at a career-high weight of 19-stone eight pounds and dominated proceedings by knocking the American out in the 11th round.
