Tyson Fury slams Anthony Joshua's management team over £2m Derek Chisora claim

Eddie Hearn branded Tyson Fury “insecure” after his most recent retirement, claiming it was a publicity stunt to take the focus away from Anthony Joshua's rematch with Oleksandr Usyk.

And it appears Fury still isn’t done with hogging the spotlight, with his latest social media video targeting Joshua ’s management team 258 MGT, who also manage Derek Chisora.

Prior to his second retirement announcement, the WBC heavyweight champion had called out 38-year-old Chisora, claiming a trilogy fight with the Londoner would help cement his legacy.

The proposed bout fell through after it emerged Chisora's team were unhappy with the £2million offer they received.

Fury has now responded, hitting out at Chisora and 258 MGT for turning their back on the big-money fight.

“I see Derek Chisora’s been having a little pop, licking his wounds after losing £2m,” Fury said in a video posted on Twitter.

“God almighty, what a mistake. Probably going to get about £375,000 for your next fight, and your management team turned down £2m. Pack of jokers.

“There’s more brains in your little finger than the full management team would ever have. Where’s someone like Derek Chisora going to get offered £2m from again? Sausages, honestly.”

After failing to reach an agreement with Chisora, Fury announced his retirement to coincide with his 34th birthday.

However, few see it as the end for the Gypsy King with US promoter Bob Arum among those who believe Fury will return to the ring to fight the winner of Joshua-Usyk.
