Tyson Fury's true personality clear for all to see after punching Micah Richards on TV show

Micah Richards has had a wide variety of punditry opponents, but he probably did not expect to be facing Tyson Fury.

Before going head-to-head with Oleksandr Usyk for the second time last month, Fury, literally, used the ex-Manchester City player as a celebrity punching bag. Thankfully for Richards, it was part of a comedy segment for the Season 19 premiere of 'A League of Their Own,' which airs this Thursday at 9pm.

Fury had not yet transformed into the intimidating figure he would become after distancing himself from his family for three months and cultivating a wild beard to get in shape for Usyk. Before he got to that terrifying stage, Richards found himself on the receiving end of a hailstorm of blows served up by the ex-WBC heavyweight champion.

In gest, Richards said, via Mirror Fighting: : "To be honest, I thought he was going to hit me harder. He actually went a bit soft.

"It was really nice meeting him away from elite sport. Sometimes, if you saw him at a boxing match, he might say, 'Hello', but he is in 'the zone' isn't he?

"To see him out of work and just so humble and nice, he was like a big friendly giant. Some people come on this show and you might think they'll be really funny or really angry.

"Whatever it may be, it could be a sporting legend, but I was really intrigued to see what he was going to be like, but he is so humble. It was certainly a big draw, getting him on - he is unbelievable."
