Tyrell Malacia names seven players helping him settle at Manchester United

Tyrell Malacia has named seven Manchester United players who have helped him settle in at the club since joining earlier this month. The Dutch left-back signed with the Red Devils just days before the pre-season tour and flew out with the team to Thailand and Australia, enjoying life in Red from day one.

The left-back has had a solid first few outings for his new club and has fit into the set-up seamlessly. He is expected to challenge Luke Shaw for his starting spot next season as Erik ten Hag attempts to implement his attacking philosophy.

Malacia was often seen bombing up the flank for former club Feyenoord, supporting his winger going forward. And he has continued this trait under Ten Hag - something which will excite United fans heading into the season.

And whilst it's been so far so good for the 23-year-old on the pitch, it's been the same off of it. Malacia has previously spoken about enjoying training, and now, he's credited a number of United players for helping him settle in with the team.

Speaking to the club's website, he said: "I really feel like I’m at home already. The guys took me into the group and it feels good. I’m good with Anthony [Elanga], Tahith [Chong], of course. Hannibal, Ethan [Laird], Jimmy [Garner], mostly the younger guys. A couple of the older guys like Eric [Bailly], Alex [Telles], they speak a lot with me. I'm learning about the group and the team."

Malacia looks to be in good shape to start the season for Ten Hag, whilst competing with the aforementioned Telles and Shaw.
