Victor Lindelof agrees with Manchester United favourite over Tyrell Malacia praise
Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof agrees with Jaap Stam over his glowing verdict on Tyrell Malacia.
Malacia, 22, was the first signing welcomed on board by Erik ten Hag and the United manager has since struck up deals for Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez, while other targets such as Barcelona playmaker Frenkie de Jong remain on the club's radar this summer window.
It's early days in United colours for Malacia, Eriksen and Martinez as they aim to hold down a regular spot in the XI next season, but Netherlands starlet Malacia has particularly impressed. His impact has not gone unnoticed, either, both within the current squad and from past Old Trafford favourites.

Speaking about Malacia to Football Insights, ex-United man Stam said: "He will give everything for United and he'll absolutely want to make the most of this opportunity. As a person, he is a good character too and he will get along with everyone in the squad.
"He's a clever operator. He plays on the front foot and is aggressive in his challenges. He is very confident on the ball and the United fans can expect to see him bombing down the pitch, making overlaps, delivering quality crosses into the box and, also, scoring goals."
Stam added: "I think he will make a difference to the team and more will add quality to the left-back option to give Luke Shaw some healthy competition. He is a good option from the bench to add pace into games - especially with the five-sub rule which is coming into effect."
Backing up that Malacia verdict during an interview with MUTV, new United teammate Lindelof said: "He is looking really good. I've talked to him a little bit and he seems like a great guy.
