Two players Man City are tipped to sign this summer after Erling Haaland transfer

Manchester City are odds-on favourites to sign two more players for their latest Premier League title defence.

Having edged-out Liverpool for their fourth English crown in five years, City and Pep Guardiola have already won the race for Borussia Dortmund goal machine Erling Haaland and his unveiling is anticipated shortly. The clubs have agreed a £51million announcement in principle and the Norway striker has jetted into the UK.

Haaland will be joined in the City squad for next season by fellow summer recruit Julian Alvarez as Guardiola seeks to finally replace Sergio Aguero - who left for Barcelona last summer before having to retire prematurely due to his health scare. City are working on further recruits including a central midfield and, potentially, a new full-back.

Incomings are expected to be offset or dictated by outgoings. Four regular first-teamers have 12 months left to run on their contracts while Gabriel Jesus - one of those players - has been subject to interest from Arsenal.

Needless to say, the bookmakers have picked up on those suggestions with Brighton defender Marc Cucurella and Leeds United talisman Kalvin Phillips the two players SkyBet are currently pricing up as odds-on to complete moves to the Etihad Stadium in time for next season.

Marc Cucurella (Brighton)

Manchester City - 1/3

Chelsea - 20/1

Real Madrid - 25/1

Tottenham - 25/1

Arsenal - 33/1

Kalvin Phillips (Leeds United)

Manchester City - 2/5

Arsenal - 14/1

Newcastle United - 16/1

Aston Villa - 20/1

Liverpool - 25/1
