Triple H: WWE has hugely exciting plans in store for 39-year-old star

Triple H is running WWE Creative right now, and the plans for Max Dupri have got fans rather excited.

Over the last few weeks, Dupri has been teasing ditching his character and reverting back to his old main roster gimmick.

In an update that has come as music to the ears of fans of the former NXT star, it seems like LA Knight may be returning sooner than later.

For context, Max Dupri debuted on WWE’s main roster after WrestleMania 38 in April 2022, announcing himself as the leader of ‘Maximum Male Models’ shortly thereafter.

While the wacky character did win over some fans, others were calling for Vince McMahon to give Dupri his old ‘LA Knight’ gimmick back, believing that would be more successful.

Over the last few weeks, Dupri teased reverting back to his LA Knight character, and new reports state that it’s happening very soon.

PWInsider is reporting that the 39-year-old is already being listed as ‘LA Knight’ on WWE’s internal roster, suggesting that the character change is upon us.

PWInsider.com has confirmed that, as some of you may have suspected, he will indeed be back as L.A. Knight ASAP. Internally, he is already back to being listed as such on the company’s internal roster.  So, he’ll be back in his former NXT gimmick going forward.

In what is another interesting update, the same report notes that the Maximum Male Models will be continuing as a group, just with Maxine Dupri as the new leader.

As of right now, there’s no words on what Triple H is planning for LA Knight, but the expectation is that he’ll land either on Raw or remain on SmackDown rather than going back down to NXT.
