Another door open on the transfer advent calendar (tradvent calendar?) as the big day creeps ever nearer.

It's a massive week for Rangers as Philippe Clement gears up for a Europa League battle of Britain against Ange Postecoglou's Tottenham before a Premier Sports Cup Final date with Celtic. Longer term, the Belgian admits the club don't have the cash to buy Vaclav Cerny outright, but Leeds' Joe Gelhardt could be an option. Clement is also keen to get John Souttar tied down on a new deal.

Confidence is sky high at Celtic as they prepare for another Champions League week before the Cup Final showdown. Brendan Rodgers has confirmed he will be act next month if the right player becomes available. However, the champions aren't expected to be overly busy. Interest in Nicolas Kuhn may have to be fended off while fringe men like Luis Palma may be ushered out the door.
