It's only TWO days until Christmas and SPFL bosses will be hoping their transfer wish lists will be answered.

With the countdown officially on until the January window opens for business, Celtic fans will be hoping to be handed a major gift with Kieran Tierney returning from Arsenal. Brendan Rodgers has held his transfer summit for the month ahead with club chiefs including Dermot Desmond with the fans' favourite high on the agenda. The draw at Dundee United may see the Hoops boss look at his squad and move for further depth while a host of fringe men could move in the other direction.

Rangers boss Philippe Clement wants to find more firepower in his Ibrox ranks and one who seems to be on the radar and of interest is South African international hitman Iqraam Rayners. Isaac Price of Standard Liege is having information gathered on him if reports in Belgium are to be believed and Leeds' Joe Gelhardt has also been linked in what could be a busy month in Govan.

Aberdeen have dropped to third and Jimmy Thelin will look to get their season back on track with some new faces. Kevin Nisbet's future could be up in the air after a managerial change at Millwall, while Jamie McGrath and Jack Mackenzie are out of contract in the summer. The Dons boss expects to be active as he bids to rediscover the early season form in the Granite City.

Hearts and Neil Critchley are desperate to put a run of wins together and with the wheeling and dealing round the corner, the Jambos boss could be a busy man. He needs another striker to go with Lawrence Shankland, who looks like he's off at the end of the season.

Across the capital, Hibs boss David Gray doesn't expect his out of contract stars to be distracted form their bid to ensure safety
