Traffic gridlocked on major route into Cardiff

A road is reportedly gridlocked with large volumes of traffic queuing in the area.

The traffic was first reported to WalesOnline at about 12.15pm on Friday, July 22. The cause of the traffic issues are currently unknown.

Traffic queues are reported from Lamby Way, along Rover Way up to the Tremorfa industrial estate. It appears to be affecting traffic in both directions.

South Wales Police has been contacted for comment.
