Cardiff City's busy transfer window has seen 15 new players come into the first-team fray this summer.

A new striker had been near the top of the agenda for some time and they finally put a tick in that box when they bought 20-year-old forward Kion Etete from Tottenham last week.

Cardiff, somewhat out of the blue, then captured centre-back Jack Simpson from Rangers on Tuesday evening. The 25-year-old adds more competition in an increasingly crowded area of Steve Morison's squad.

Another striker will surely be a consideration, but with Morison refusing to narrow it down solely to a frontman, there could yet be additions elsewhere.
