Tottenham transfer news: Conte & Paratici now facing huge Franck Kessie problem

Several clubs across Europe and in the Premier League are interested in signing Tottenham target Franck Kessie this summer, says transfer insider Pete O’Rourke.

The AC Milan midfielder is out of contract at the end of the season and is thought to be high on Antonio Conte’s list, but it looks like the north London outfit could face a lot of competition for his signature.

Italian journalist Luca Marchetti (via Milan News) recently reported that Milan will continue to try to renew Kessie’s contract amid interest from English teams and Paris Saint-Germain.

One of those English teams is likely to include Tottenham, with La Gazzetta dello Sport one outlet to claim that the 25-year-old is a target for Conte.

They reported back in November that the Spurs manager wanted to sign both Kessie and Dusan Vlahovic before his transfer to Juventus.

Following his move to the Allianz Stadium, Vlahovic is no longer on the table, but Kessie still very much looks like a possibility given his contract situation at the San Siro.

O’Rourke, though, has told GIVEMESPORT that Conte and Fabio Paratici will have to beat off a lot of competition if they are to sign Kessie this summer.

Speaking to GMS, the football journalist said: “He’s not just a Spurs target. Several clubs across Europe and the Premier League are interested in Kessie, so he probably will have his pick of clubs if he doesn’t sign a new deal at AC Milan.”

Kessie has been one of Milan’s star performers this season, so it is no surprise to hear that several clubs are interested in him.
