Tottenham transfer latest: Huge cash injection sees Spurs turn back to Yves Bissouma as bargain fee emerges

Fresh from their £150million cash injection, Tottenham are being strongly tipped to renew their interest in outstanding Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma.

The ENIC Group, which owns a majority share in Spurs, are pumping more investment into the club after they booked a Champions League spot on the final day of the Premier League season.

The north London club are now set for a busy summer of incomings and outgoings as Antonio Conte shapes his squad for next season.

And according to a report in The Times, Tottenham are once again in the mix for Bissouma.

Sporting director Fabio Paratici is rumoured to have enquired about the 25-year-old in January. However, it looks like Spurs are ready to take that interest one step further by making an actual offer.

Bissouma currently has just a year left remaining on his Seagulls contract. To that end, Brighton’s best chance of recouping a decent fee for the player is this summer.

The report adds that the dynamic midfielder will cost in the region of £30million. That is considered something of a bargain for a player who excelled in games against Tottenham this season.
