Tottenham still want Inter Milan central defender Alessandro Bastoni and their chances of signing him could depend on how much money Inter can raise from other sales.

Bastoni's agent has said the player is staying at the San Siro - and Inter want to keep him.

However, it is thought Inter need to raise in the region of €60m by the end of the month to balance the books.

They would prefer to sell Milan Skriniar and Stefan de Vrij. There has been initial interest from PSG in Skriniar.

Tottenham are in advanced talks over signing Djed Spence from Middlesbrough.

The defender spent the season on loan at Nottingham Forest.

Spurs are among the front runners to sign the player and they are keen to see off other competition to bolster the wing-back position
