Tottenham 'really want' £10m winger 'behind-the-scenes' at Hotspur Way

Tottenham Hotspur are still considering a summer move for Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore this summer with some at the club viewing him as a priority, according to transfer insider Dean Jones

Antonio Conte is currently preparing his squad for the start of the new season and currently has six new players to utilise although more names could still be added before the window slams shut. 

It has been a summer of efficient business for Spurs so far with Fabio Paratici moving quickly to secure his compatriot his top targets ahead of the new campaign. 

With Champions League football returning to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the 2022-23 campaign, reinforcements were always likely to be targeted. 

So far £91 million has been spent completing the transfers of Richarlison, Djed Spence and Yves Bissouma to north London. Ivan Perisic and Fraser Forster arrived on free transfers while Clement Lenglet has made the switch from Barcelona on loan. 

The bulk of the club’s business is likely done and dusted but Conte is reported to still be interested in adding more creativity to his midfield before the summer is out. 

But it seems that some at the club have not given up on the prospect of signing Wolves ace Traore either with a deal apparently available for just £10 million.

Jones understands that some at Spurs still think of the 26-year-old, who is currently earning £46,000 per week at Molineux, as a perfect fit for the brand of football employed by Conte. 

The transfer insider claims that, because of this reason, there is every chance that the club are still mulling over a potential move for Traore this summer.
