Top chefs including Tom Kerridge to join Gary Usher at Cheshire pub

Some of the UK's best chefs will be joining Gary Usher for a series of special guest chef events at The White Horse pub in Cheshire later this summer.

The multi-award winning restaurateur who’s worked under some of the most influential chefs in the world and now has a string of successful restaurants to his name, will host big names including Tom Kerridge and Angela Hartnett at his popular pub in Churton.

The special chef series kicks off in August with Calum Franklin at the stoves, before shifts from North West-based chef Simon Rimmer and Neil Borthwick. The Parkers Arms' chef Stosie Madi will also be popping up, along with Tom Kerridge, Farokh Talati of St John Bread & Wine and Thom Bateman.

Speaking about the series, Gary Usher said: “It's a stellar line-up of chefs and & a wonderful way to celebrate the opening of our first pub. The community here in Churton were fantastic all throughout the renovations and opening, so we wanted to do something a bit special to say thanks and invite some of our friends in the industry over.

"These chefs are some of the most talented people in UK hospitality & we’re really proud to be able to bring these unique experiences to our beautiful pub in Cheshire.”

Guests heading down will enjoy a five-course set menu and have a chance to chat to the chefs on the evening. The first date will be with pie connoisseur Calum Franklin on Tuesday 8 August, with bookings now open on the Elite Bistros website.
