Andre Onana shows Gary Neville he can inspire vital Manchester United change

Erik ten Hag is building a team in his and Manchester United's image and the early signs are that Andre Onana will have no trouble fitting in.

He is a dominant present between the sticks and showcased his shot-stopping ability, as well as ball playing, in the pre-season tour of the United States. In addition to that, the 27-year-old showed everyone he is no shrinking violet when he laid into Harry Maguire for an almost costly pass versus Borussia Dortmund.

Onana backed himself after that game, assuring that he will continue to place high demands on his team-mates in order to give United the best chance of winning silverware this season. This is a player who understands his new club and the pressure that comes with pulling on the shirt. Lisandro Martinez was full of support for Onana's reaction too.
