Tony Smith ecstatic to send Rovers supporters home with a smile after challenging period

Tony Smith was delighted to send the Hull KR supporters home with a smile after his side demolished Salford Red Devils 43-16 at Craven Park.

The Robins racked up seven tries against Salford, including braces for Lachlan Coote, Ryan Hall, and Ben Crooks saw KR get back on track after a disappointing few weeks and Rovers boss Smith was delighted to get the victory and was proud to send the club's supporters home with the two points.

"I'm thrilled we were able to send the supporters home happy," said Smith. "I've been coming here 22 years, and what makes our fans unique is their commitment and passion for their club. They get behind the team if we win or lose, and it's nice to reward them with some entertainment today.

The Rovers boss also highlighted some key players from today's triumph, with Matt Parcell and Shaun Kenny-Dowall impressing Smith.

"Matty Parcell did an excellent job for us. Mikey was mixed. Our right-hand side was solid today, which was good. Mikey
