Tony Docherty slams Rangers penalty award as Dundee boss claims VAR didn't give Kevin Clancy proper 'context'

Tony Docherty slammed the VAR decision to hand Rangers a “pivotal” penalty in Dundee’s Ibrox defeat - insisting the image presented to Kevin Clancy was not a true reflection of the incident.

Aaron Donnelly was penalised for a tug on Abdallah Sima’s jersey after ref Kevin Clancy had been sent to the monitor by VAR Steven Kirkland. Clancy had originally waved play on. Docherty - who hopes to have Owen Beck back for next week’s trip to face Ross County - admits his side should have caused Rangers more problems after they went down to 10 men. He said: “I
