Tom Rogic overcome with Celtic emotion after 'immortal' question as he pinpoints special memory

Former Celtic player Tom Rogic was lost for words when asked about becoming "immortal" at Celtic.

The Australian was in tears as he bid farewell to the Hoops during their title celebrations against Motherwell, rounding off almost a decade in Glasgow's east end.

He received a minute's applause during the 18th minute to match the playmaker's squad number.

As he takes the next step in his career after the Scottish Premiership win, Rogic sat down to look back on his career at Parkhead.

He states that going unbeaten during Brendan Rodgers' first season at the club and going on to score the Scottish Cup Final winner against Aberdeen to seal the Treble was his best moment.

Rogic told Celtic TV: "In terms of moments, the Scottish Cup final one sticks out, but there are a number of derby goals and last minutes winners and things like that that I can look back on as key moments.

"I will miss everything. The day to day stuff; I have been fortunate to have played with so many great teammates and great players.

"To have shared that with so many people makes it more special."

On the Treble winning goal and becoming an "immortal" at Celtic, an emotional Rogic added: "I get immensely proud (when looking back on that moment).

"The moment, the significance (pauses as he collects himself) – I will look back on it for a very long time I'm sure.

"There are a number of moments I can look back on, but that particular season we are unbeaten and going for the Treble which hadn't been done in a number of years was obviously special.

"As a season as a whole that was incredible and a special time."
