TNT Sports launch confirms presenters, pundits, price, streaming and how to watch
TNT Sports has officially launched across the UK and Republic of Ireland, replacing BT Sport.
The new broadcaster will keep hold of BT’s existing sports portfolio but has moved under the banner of Warner Bros Discovery. Sports fans will quickly become familiar with TNT, who possess the live rights to Premier League games, Champions League football, Premiership rugby, UFC and boxing.
Presenter Laura Woods has announced that she is heading to TNT Sports, shortly after leaving her role as talkSPORT’s breakfast show host. There are a lot of familiar names in the broadcaster’s catalogue of pundits, plus some new faces as well.

TNT Sports launched on 18 July after BT Sport merged with Warner Bros Discovery and assumed the name of the pre-existing TNT Sports. A major change is that the streaming home for TNT Sports is discovery+. A premium plan for discovery+ - which offers all of the broadcaster’s sports coverage, including Eurosport, plus an entertainment package - is priced at £29.99 per month, the same price as the previous BT Sport Monthly Pass.
TNT Sports is available on all major TV platforms, including Sky, Virgin Media and BT TV. Existing BT Sport subscribers will automatically have TNT Sports as part of their TV package. The BT Sport app will continue to be available until it shuts down later this year, but eligible customers will be directed to a discovery+ authentication process, which will give them access to TNT Sports, Eurosport and an entertainment package.
