Ticketmaster glitches as SZA and Kendrick Lamar O2 Priority Presale kicks off

The first presale for Kendrick Lamar and SZA Grand National UK Tour started today, February 12, and fans have already been experiencing issues.

Kendrick and SZA are visiting four UK cities during the European leg of their tour, visiting Glasgow's Hampden Park National Stadium (July 8), Birmingham's Villa Park (July 10), Cardiff's Principality Stadium (July 19) and London's Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (July 22).

The tour announcement comes after SZA joined Kendrick during his set at the NFL Super Bowl halftime show. The pair performed All The Stars together in front of a huge crowd and even bigger TV audience all over the world.

Kendrick, who recently made history as the first artist to be awarded a Grammy for a diss track, joins platinum-selling artist SZA on a world tour which kicks off in Minneapolis on April 18. Other US tour stops include Houston, Atlanta, Las Vegas and Washington among more.

In addition to the UK dates, SZA and Kendrick will also visit stadiums in Germany, France, Spain, Portugal and Italy plus more. The tour finishes in Stockholm on 9 August.

The first presale was for O2 Priority members and opened at 9 am on Wednesday, February 12. But fans have been experiencing issues with Ticketmaster before the clock struck nine.

Fans took to social media to share their frustration and to try and get help.

On X, formerly Twitter, @TheGGAPS asked: "How does O2 priority work? I’m not in a waiting room I’m just on ticket master site looking at a countdown?", to which @laurenlilyy replied: "it’s never like this don’t worry it’s jus fucking up today".

@sheabutterbaaby shared: "how am i queuing to ENTER the priority app we’re so done hope ur happy ticketmaster", alongside a screenshot of what she was experiencing.
