Three teenage boys have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after an 18-year-old was stabbed near Whitefield.

Emergency services descended on Abingdon Avenue, an estate in the Unsworth area, at around 5pm on March 28 to reports a man had been stabbed. He sustained a serious injury to his arm and was rushed to hospital.

Following investigations, two 16-year-old boys and a 17-year-old boy have now been arrested in connection with the incident on suspicion of attempted murder.
