Three huge packages of drugs worth £1 MILLION found in car boot
Three huge packages of drugs with a street value of around £1 million were uncovered in a boot of a car in Bolton.
Officers stopped the car on Victory Street yesterday (Saturday) and searched the vehicle. They found the three sealed packages containing suspected class A drugs in the boot.
The packages weighed around 10 kilos, police said. Earlier in the day, another 'suspicious' car was spotted by Operation Venture officers parked on Chorley Road.

Officers searched those in the car under the misuse of drugs act. Inside the vehicle, they found a number of snap bags of suspected cocaine and around £1,000 in cash.
As part of the operation, four males - between the ages of 16 and 49 - were arrested on suspicion of possession with Intent to supply drugs. They were all taken into custody for questioning.
Chief Inspector Justine Topping, from GMP’s Bolton District, said: "Having additional resources available to deploy through Operation Venture means that we can tackle serious crimes robustly to make Bolton a safer place to live and work. The action last night highlights our endeavour to take illegal supply from our streets.
"Officers from Operation Venture are out and about every night working hard and patrolling hotspot areas to keep communities across Greater Manchester safe. If you see our officers out and about you can speak to them about any concerns you might have. We all have a part to play in fighting, preventing and reducing crime."
