This Morning's Nick Ferrari left red-faced as he begs ITV 'burn that tape'

This Morning's guest Nick Ferrari was left red-faced after a clip of his impromptu singing performance was aired on the ITV programme.

The LBC broadcaster, who regularly contributes to the show with his take on current affairs, joined hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley alongside journalist Camilia Tominey via video link to discuss the latest in politics and entertainment.

However, the conversation took a humorous detour when Ben brought up Nick's recent stint as a singer at Chris Moyles' birthday bash. To Nick's embarrassment, footage of him belting out 'Simply The Best' in front of a star-studded audience, including Boy George, was shown.

Nick, chuckling and momentarily speechless, insisted that Ben should ensure the footage is destroyed.

He also took a moment to send a special shout-out, saying: "Can I ask you all because Chris' mum Vera is a massive fan of This Morning, loves both of you I'm sure. So can we wish a happy birthday to Chris and wave hello to Vera.", reports the Mirror.

Adding a personal touch for the fan, he exclaimed, "This is for you Vera! Now can we burn that tape, Ben!"

Despite his initial embarrassment over the singing video, Nick also expressed his amazement at the weekend's events. Fresh from covering the UK's General Elections, he found himself on stage just hours later, entertaining celebrities like Boy George and Spice Girls' Emma Bunton.
