ITV Emmerdale fans confused and ask 'why' over Caleb Milligan detail as he's faced with fire mystery

Emmerdale viewers were left seriously distracted by Caleb Milligan's food choices. The character, played by William Ash, was seen enjoying some lunch in The Woolpack with his wife Ruby after being delivered some shocking news.

During Tuesday night's (July 30) episode of the ITV soap, Caleb and Ruby returned home from their holiday in Bali to bad news. Caleb received a phone call and was left shocked to find out there had been a fire at his work.

It wasn't long before the police were at Caleb's door, first speaking to Ruby before asking of Caleb's whereabouts at the time of the blaze as they suspected arson. It was also revealed that Caleb had increased his insurance premiums before he went away making him look suspicious.

Caleb and Ruby later headed to the pub and as Celeb questioned who had been behind the fire at his car dealership, he told Ruby he did not think it would be his former nemesis Kim Tate.

What Caleb doesn't know is that Ruby has secretly been targeting Kim recently, with the help of Rose, and has no idea that Kim is now out for revenge after unravelling what has been going on under her nose.

But as Caleb enjoyed his lunch and brushed off Kim taunting him over the incident, Emmerdale viewers were too distracted by what was on Caleb's plate - which appeared to be chicken with a side of chips and vegetables - while Ruby enjoyed a humble salad.
