'This guy is so good' - Manchester United fans go wild after Christian Eriksen's latest Denmark performance

Manchester United fans simply could not hide their excitement over Christian Eriksen's superb performance for Denmark during their 2-0 win over France.

Eriksen arrived as a free agent this summer after his contract came to an end at Brentford. Since his arrival at Old Trafford, Erik ten Hag has turned to the Dane in every match this season, starting in all six Premier League games so far.

The 30-year-old has only provided two assists, against Arsenal and FC Sheriff, but the truth is he has been far better than the stats might suggest. Eriksen has been at the heart of United's midfield and has been the catalyst for almost every attacking move that the Reds have put together this season.

This was the case again when Denmark beat France 2-0 in the UEFA Nations League on Sunday night. Eriksen failed to register an assist to his name, but was heavily involved in both goals with some sublime passing. The United midfielder was simply instrumental for his country's win, as shown by his Man of the Match award at the end of the game.

Raphael Varane remained an unused substitute during France's defeat, as United supporters breathed a sigh of relief as they get one step closer to avoiding any major injuries during the international break. Varane perhaps would have been secretly pleased not to have to defend against Eriksen when he is in that kind of form, as the centre-back will no doubt be delighted to have him back on the same team next week.
